Jennifer Clingo

Jennifer Clingo is a skilled employment and civil rights attorney and the founder of Clingo Law Group. She represents employees in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, and civil rights violations. With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Clingo is known for her strong advocacy and strategic legal guidance. She focuses on protecting the rights of workers across California and Oregon and is committed to holding employers accountable for unlawful conduct in the workplace.

Ms. Clingo earned her J.D. from Tulane Law School in 2001, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board and The Sports Law Journal. She was also named Junior Appellate Moot Court Champion. She completed an international law program at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in the same year. She holds a B.A. in History from Florida State University, which she earned in 1998.

Ms. Clingo began her legal career in New Orleans, gaining hands-on litigation experience at a respected local firm. In 2003, after passing the California Bar Exam, she moved to Los Angeles and joined a 100-attorney firm, where she worked on business litigation and intellectual property matters. In 2009, she shifted her focus to employment law when she joined a boutique employment law firm in Century City. In 2014, she founded Clingo Law Group to provide high-level, client-focused representation for employees.

Ms. Clingo’s practice now includes cases related to civil rights violations, workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She is licensed to practice in California and Oregon, with a pending application in Washington. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California.

Recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer (2019–2024) and Rising Star (2009–2016), Jennifer Clingo is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).
