Moty Ben Yona

Moty Ben Yona is a corporate attorney who advises clients on complex business and commercial transactions in the United States and internationally. He concentrates on corporate and corporate-real estate matters, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, mortgage lending, securities offerings, and private equity investments. He represents multinational corporations, startups, investors, and real estate sponsors.

Moty earned his Law School degree from Tel Aviv University. His legal education provided a strong foundation in corporate governance, finance, and transactional law. During his career in Israel, he also served as an adjunct faculty member and corporate law lecturer at Tel Aviv University’s School of Law, the School of Business, and the Interdisciplinary Center’s School of Law.

Moty is admitted to practice in New York and Israel. He has worked in senior legal roles, including serving as Senior General Counsel of one of Israel’s leading Venture Capital funds. He also practiced for more than six years in the Corporate and M&A practice group of one of Israel’s leading law firms, gaining extensive cross-border experience.

Moty advises clients on fund formation, including Agro Tech Funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and Real Estate Funds, and handles related securities matters such as Reg. D and Reg. A offerings. He has represented companies in significant acquisitions, growth financings, and restructuring transactions across technology, real estate, and private equity sectors.
