Mitchell T. Brooks

Mitchell T. Brooks has built a respected career representing clients in diverse legal areas, including personal injury, wrongful death, civil disputes, family law, criminal defense, real estate, and landlord-tenant issues. Mitchell began his academic path at the University of Utah, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Finance in 2003. He went on to complete his Juris Doctor at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2007. During law school, he participated in the Fair Housing Clinic, Predatory Lending Clinic, and an International Law Program in the Czech Republic, gaining early experience in varied areas of law.

Mitchell also developed valuable public service experience while interning for the Office of Governor John Huntsman Jr., working with the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice. He was licensed in Utah as a Certified Appraiser and Sales Agent, which further enhanced his understanding of real estate law. In recognition of his professional standing, he was named among Utah Business Magazine’s 2018 Legal Elite in family law, a peer-selected honor reflecting his commitment to excellence.

Mitchell contributes his time to community service, volunteering with Safe Harbor Women’s Shelter to represent individuals seeking protective orders. He also supports youth as a coach in football and wrestling, and serves as Executive Vice President for the Bountiful District of the Ute Conference and Vice President for Davenport Boxing Club SLC. His dedication extends beyond his professional work to mentoring and advocating for others.
