Misty Cole

Misty Cole is a senior attorney at Hargrave Family Law in Dallas, Texas. With over 23 years of legal experience, Misty focuses on helping families through divorce and family law matters with care, strength, and creative problem-solving. Her legal practice supports individuals dealing with divorce, custody issues, and other complex family law cases. Misty earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Journalism from Oklahoma State University. She went on to receive her J.D. with honors from The University of Tulsa College of Law in 1999.

Misty began her legal career as a civil litigator, working on cases involving civil rights, discrimination, construction, and liability. She represented a wide range of clients, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. In 2009, she shifted her focus to family law, bringing her courtroom experience to cases involving divorce, child custody, and property division.

Licensed in Texas (2001), Oklahoma (1999), and Colorado (2009), Misty is also admitted to several federal courts in Texas and Oklahoma. She is a member of the Texas Bar Association Family Law Section and the Collin and Denton County Bar Associations.
