Mikal David Williams

Mikal David Williams is an associate attorney at The Hodge Law Firm. He works in litigation, administrative law, environmental law, and compliance. He also handles property insurance matters, including hurricane, hail, fire, water, tornado, vandalism, and bad faith claims for residential and commercial clients seeking fair claim results after losses.

Mikal earned his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2013. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. He graduated magna cum laude, showing strong academic work and a firm base for his later legal practice and service.

Mikal is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. His federal admissions include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, which supports his work in many complex legal matters.

Before joining the firm, Mikal worked as an investigator for the Department of Family and Protective Services in Galveston County. He also worked as a legal clerk for Robert Rolnick, former Fort Bend County Judge. These roles helped him build careful case review, client service, and valuable legal research skills.

Mikal served as general counsel for Central Texas Allied Health Institute from 2018 to 2023. He also co-founded that institute and Texas Health and Technical Trade Institute. Through this nonprofit work, he helped support access to quality education in allied health and technical trade certification programs at an affordable cost.

Mikal David Williams taught Medical Law and Ethics at Central Texas Allied Health Institute from 2018 to 2023. As a child and family advocate, mediator, and attorney, he brings practical experience to legal matters. He works to guide clients with clear communication, steady preparation, and careful judgment at each step.
