Thomas G. Rohback is a trial lawyer with more than 40 years of experience in complex, high-stakes disputes across the country. He has tried over 30 jury and bench trials and has led appeals and class actions in federal and state courts, often entering cases at critical stages for clients.
Thomas earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1978, an M.A. from Columbia University in 1974, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Union College in 1973. This strong education supports his work in litigation, trials, arbitration, appeals, class actions, and complex disputes for clients nationwide in many courts.
Thomas has handled matters involving antitrust, insurance, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair trade practices, breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property, employment discrimination, professional liability, and arbitration. He is known for identifying weak points in an opponent’s case, developing clear strategies, and adapting as facts and court rulings evolve during litigation.
Thomas has secured defense verdicts, directed verdicts, dismissals, and favorable arbitration awards in demanding matters. His work includes unfair trade practices class actions, federal employment discrimination jury cases, bankruptcy trustee claims, securities class action defense, multidistrict antitrust litigation, international arbitration, and fiduciary duty claims tied to natural gas exploration projects.
Thomas has earned recognition for litigation work.
