Michelle earned a B.S. from Winona State University in 1989, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later received a J.D. from the University of Iowa in 1991, graduating with High Distinction. In addition to her legal practice, she has shared her knowledge with students by serving as an adjunct professor in the paralegal program at Winona State University.
