Michael T. Wierzbicki

Michael T. Wierzbicki is a Partner at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates and a respected Illinois trial attorney known for his aggressive advocacy in personal injury law. With a passion for justice and a track record of securing millions in verdicts and settlements, he represents seriously injured clients across Illinois in some of the most complex litigation matters.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts from Albion College in 1996 and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 1999. He is admitted to the Illinois Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Before joining Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates in 2002, Michael defended hospitals and physicians in medical malpractice cases, an experience that now gives him valuable insight into injury litigation.

Michael focuses his practice on truck and auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, nursing home abuse, construction injuries, and wrongful death. He has handled cases involving brain and spinal injuries, chronic pain, and orthopedic trauma. His legal skills and medical understanding allow him to excel in proving serious injury claims, even in difficult or highly contested cases.

Michael has litigated in state and appellate courts throughout Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Will, Kane, and Lake counties. He has argued before both the Illinois First and Second District Appellate Courts and the Illinois Court of Claims. His legal excellence has earned him membership in the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums and numerous honors such as Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Top 40 Under 40.
