About
Nick Abramson is a trial attorney at Abramson, Brown & Dugan, where he advocates for plaintiffs in complex medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases. With a background as a federal prosecutor, Nick brings exceptional trial experience and a sharp courtroom presence to his role as co-chair of the firm’s federal practice group.
Nick earned his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, where he served on the Duke Law Journal. His early career included practicing at the national law firm Ropes & Gray and clerking for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Howard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He later served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in New Hampshire, where he prosecuted human trafficking and child exploitation crimes.
Since joining the firm in 2016, Nick has successfully handled cases involving diagnostic failures, medication errors, and wrongful birth. His prosecutorial background and commitment to justice inform his approach to challenging powerful institutions, including hospitals and insurance carriers, on behalf of injured clients.
Nick is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, an honor reserved for elite trial lawyers, and has been consistently recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers for his excellence in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. His leadership extends to roles with the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, the Granite State Children’s Alliance, and the New Hampshire Access to Justice Commission.
Nick Abramson’s combination of legal skill, courtroom experience, and passion for advocacy makes him a formidable representative for victims seeking justice in high-stakes civil litigation.
