Michael S. Popok

Michael S. Popok is the founder and Executive Managing Director of The Popok Firm. With more than 30 years of experience, he focuses on complex litigation, regulatory matters, and business advising, helping clients navigate challenging legal situations.

Mr. Popok earned his law degree from Duke University School of Law in 1991 after graduating cum laude from New York University in 1988, where he was a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida and is admitted to several U.S. federal courts, including the Southern Districts of Florida and New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

His legal career began at top-tier law firms Skadden Arps and Sidley Austin in New York, where he gained expertise in litigation and white-collar defense. Over the years, Mr. Popok has tried more than 40 cases to verdict or resolution in courts and arbitration rooms across the country, including New York, Miami, Chicago, and Delaware. He has also successfully settled hundreds of cases, helping clients achieve their business goals without lengthy trials.
