About
Marc A. Agnifilo is a seasoned attorney with more than 30 years of experience defending clients in criminal and white-collar matters. He has tried more than 200 cases, earning a strong reputation for achieving successful results in high-stakes situations. Marc focuses his practice on complex legal issues, including fraud, money laundering, corruption, and international crimes, where his strategic approach and trial experience consistently set him apart.
Marc graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1990. During law school, he was Co-Chairperson of the Moot Court Honor Society and won the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy. He also coached national trial and appellate advocacy teams. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Connecticut College in 1986.
Licensed to practice in New York since 1992, Marc is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Earlier in his career, he worked as a supervisor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan.
Now a partner at Agnifilo Intrater LLP, Marc A. Agnifilo handles complex criminal cases involving fraud, racketeering, and tax investigations, as well as regulatory matters before the SEC and FINRA.
