Michael R. Carlson

Michael R. Carlson is a Philadelphia litigation attorney and shareholder who focuses on sophisticated insurance and reinsurance disputes. He represents clients in matters involving healthcare liability, professional liability, toxic tort claims, product liability, and other complex coverage issues. His practice includes trial and appellate litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and international arbitration. He helps insurers and other clients evaluate exposure, develop litigation strategy, and resolve difficult disputes in state and federal forums.

Carlson earned his J.D. cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 2002, where he served as a member of the Temple Law Review. He received his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1993. After law school, he clerked for Justice Ronald Castille of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
