Michael P. Dowling began practicing law in 1995 and has built a reputation for delivering effective guidance in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business transactions. Over the years, he has represented a wide range of clients, from family-owned businesses and professional corporations to large and small farming entities. Michael earned his B.A. from California State University, Fresno, before completing his J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. Soon after graduation, he was admitted to the California Bar in 1995 and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of California the same year. His academic foundation prepared him to handle complex matters of planning, transactions, and fiduciary responsibilities.

Michael began his career as a partner at the Fresno law firm Dowling, Aaron & Keeler, then went on to launch his own practice, The Law Office of Michael P. Dowling, a professional corporation. Throughout his career, he has focused on delivering strategic, results-driven representation in both transactional law and estate planning matters, consistently prioritizing his clients’ best interests.

Michael is also a member of the State Bar of California’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section and the Fresno Estate Planning Council. His work has involved supporting fiduciaries, both private and professional, in the administration of trusts and estates. In recognition of his legal ability and ethics, he earned the Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent Peer Rating for Highest Level of Professional Excellence in 2019.
