Michael earned his B.A. from California State University, Fresno, before completing his J.D. at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. Soon after graduation, he was admitted to the California Bar in 1995 and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of California the same year. His academic foundation prepared him to handle complex matters of planning, transactions, and fiduciary responsibilities.

Michael’s early career included serving as a partner with the Fresno firm of Dowling, Aaron & Keeler before establishing The Law Office of Michael P. Dowling under his own professional corporation. His career path demonstrates his dedication to advancing client interests in both transactional and estate-related legal areas.

Michael is also a member of the State Bar of California’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section and the Fresno Estate Planning Council. His work has involved supporting fiduciaries, both private and professional, in the administration of trusts and estates.
