Michael J. Norton

Michael J. Norton is a trial attorney who manages a wide span of litigation matters. He has guided clients through disputes in areas such as commercial law, intellectual property, insurance defense, trust and estate conflicts, real estate issues, and products liability. His clients range from aerospace and agriculture companies to healthcare providers and financial institutions, as well as individuals with complex legal needs.

Michael completed his B.A., cum laude, at Cameron University in 1995 before earning his J.D. from Texas Tech University in 1998. He was admitted to practice in Kansas that same year, and later in Oklahoma in 2019. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Michael handles matters such as contract disputes, copyright and trademark enforcement, construction claims, defamation, tort actions, and noncompete or trade secret litigation. He frequently appears before federal courts, appellate courts, Kansas and Oklahoma state courts, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
