Michael J. Kent is the co-founder of Kent | Pincin and practices extensively in civil litigation, including employment law, personal and catastrophic injury, wage and hour claims, and consumer protection matters such as product liability and utility-related disputes. He is known for his results-driven advocacy and client-first approach.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Pre-Law Studies from the University of Arizona. He later received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. His education provided the foundation for his commitment to justice and sharp litigation skills in high-stakes civil cases.
Michael has successfully litigated complex matters in both state and federal courts. His notable representations include the Route 91 Massacre, California Wildfire Litigation, and Tyndall sex abuse cases. He also prevailed in appellate litigation, including Ward v. Tilly’s Inc. (2019) 31 Cal.App.5th 1167. His total career recoveries exceed $700 million for injured and wronged clients.
Michael’s employment law practice is built on a deep sense of responsibility—often fighting for clients’ livelihoods and financial stability.
