Michael H. Kenny

Michael H. Kenny is a family law attorney serving clients in Wheaton and throughout DuPage, Cook, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties. His practice has focused primarily on family law throughout his entire legal career. He represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, maintenance, property division, adoption, paternity, and domestic violence matters. In addition to family law, Michael has handled numerous residential real estate closings, providing practical guidance in important financial transactions.

Michael earned his J.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at Marquette University. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. His legal education and early professional training prepared him for a career centered on advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom representation in complex domestic relations matters.

Throughout his career, Michael has been deeply involved in the DuPage County Bar Association. He has served in leadership roles, including chairman and vice chairman of the Family Law Committee and Membership Committee. He has also been a member of the Judiciary Committee and the Lawyer Referral Service Committee. His service has been recognized by the DuPage County Bar Legal Aid Service for his dedication and commitment to the legal community.

Michael H. Kenny has been a court-approved arbitrator in DuPage County since 1996 and is a certified family law mediator. These roles reflect his experience in resolving disputes both in and outside the courtroom.
