Timothy Weiler

Timothy Weiler is a Partner who focuses his legal career on complex family law litigation, including divorce, appeals, and high-asset financial disputes. He handles sensitive matters that require strong courtroom skills and careful financial analysis. He successfully argued and won In re Marriage of Tiballi before the Illinois Supreme Court, demonstrating his appellate advocacy experience

Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Iowa in 2002. He later received his Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. While in law school, he was named to the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

Timothy has completed advanced legal training through the American Bar Association Section of Family Law, National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Advanced Institute for Family Law Associates. He is a Founding Member of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators. As a Certified Financial Litigator, he applies detailed financial knowledge to resolve complicated property division and support issues
