Michael D. Capizola

Michael D. Capizola is the senior partner of Capizola, Pancari & Lapham, P.A. in Vineland, New Jersey. Mr. Capizola advises on litigation, business, corporate law, real estate, zoning, land development, and financial planning matters. His practice reflects decades of legal experience in South Jersey and a broad understanding of the issues facing individuals, businesses, public entities, and clients of the firm who need practical guidance.

Mr. Capizola attended Georgetown University, where he earned an A.B. magna cum laude in 1960. He later received an LL.B. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1963. During law school, he served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review and was elected treasurer for 1962 to 1963. His academic background supports a careful approach to legal analysis, advocacy, and client counseling.

Mr. Capizola has served in several public, banking, educational, and professional roles. He was Solicitor of the Buena Regional Board of Education from 1965 through 2003 and taught Law Office Management at Cumberland County College from 1971 to 1975. He also served as Solicitor and Director of Minotola National Bank, later serving as a director of Susquehanna Bank until his retirement from that role in 2010.

Michael D. Capizola is admitted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as before the US District Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Capizola is a commercial arbitrator with the Cumberland County Courts and a member of county and state bar associations.
