Russell Q. Allison

Russell Q. Allison is a founding shareholder of Carr Allison and is based in the Birmingham, Alabama, office. He advises and represents clients across a broad range of businesses, with a strong focus on the insurance industry. His work includes insurance, insurance coverage, transportation, retail, hospitality, and complex liability matters.

Russell earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). He remains connected to legal education programs through service on the Cumberland School of Law Advisory Board and the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court.

Russell is admitted to practice in Alabama and in the US District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. He is also admitted before the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. These admissions support his work in state and federal courts across Alabama and beyond.

Russell has earned an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.
