Michael Aquino

Michael Aquino is an Attorney at Law with Salomon & Aquino LLC, bringing decades of litigation and trial experience to clients throughout New Jersey and New York. He began his legal career after working his way through college and law school, developing a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of client advocacy.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1983, graduating with honors. He received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1986, where he competed in Moot Court and won the Sidney Tolmadge Memorial Award for trial excellence.

Michael began his legal career at a Manhattan insurance defense firm, where he previously worked as a law clerk. There, he successfully tried multiple bodily injury cases and gained valuable insight into defense strategies, strengthening his ability to anticipate and counter opposing arguments effectively.

Michael later joined one of New Jersey’s largest law firms, litigating major environmental cases, construction defect claims, bodily injury lawsuits, and complex commercial disputes. In 1995, he joined Salomon & Blackman, now Salomon & Aquino LLC, continuing the firm’s long-standing commitment to client-focused representation.

Michael has been recognized for his trial skills and professional excellence, including honors from the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and Super Lawyers selection. He is a member of several bar associations and remains respected for his courtroom experience and ethical approach to litigation.
