While in law school, she contributed to the Law Review as an editor, had her work published, and competed on the school’s nationally ranked trial team. Her dedication to the craft of trial advocacy has continued post-graduation, and she is now serving as a coach for the same program.

Micaela began her legal career as a defense attorney, working in-house with two of the country’s largest insurance companies. During this time, she handled hundreds of personal injury cases, collaborating closely with adjusters and learning how the defense side operates.
