About
Megan E. Ball is a Member at BrownWinick in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a litigator who represents and advises clients at all stages of a dispute, with a focus on litigation, construction, administrative law, appellate matters, product liability, and employment litigation. As Co-Chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, Ms. Ball helps clients address legal issues efficiently, manage risks, and pursue practical solutions before and during litigation.
Ms. Ball earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2019. She also received a B.A., magna cum laude, in History Honors and Theology from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. In law school, she served as managing senior editor of the Notre Dame Law Review and as an oralist on the Notre Dame Moot Court Board.
Ms. Ball has valuable trial and appellate experience from two federal judicial clerkships. She clerked for Judge L. Steven Grasz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and Judge Stephen J. Murphy III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also practiced with a large international law firm in Washington, D.C. before joining BrownWinick and returning to Iowa.
Megan E. Ball is admitted in Illinois, Washington, D.C., and Iowa. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Polk County Bar Association, and the ISBA Federal Practice Committee. Ms. Ball is also a board member of the American Parkinson Disease Association in Iowa.
