Matthew P. Johnson

Matthew P. Johnson is a partner and shareholder at Murphy Johnson & Trampe S.C. He focuses his practice on family law and has represented clients across Southeastern Wisconsin since 2007. He handles a wide range of matters, including divorce, child custody, physical placement, child support, spousal support, adoption, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and grandparent visitation rights. He also represents clients in cases involving domestic violence, neglect, juvenile law, and traffic violations. Mr. Johnson manages a high volume of cases each year, many of which involve complex custody and financial disputes. His work is centered on protecting his clients’ rights and guiding them through difficult legal situations with clear advice and strong advocacy.

Mr. Johnson earned a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2004. He then received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007, graduating cum laude. He was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin on October 15, 2007, and joined Murphy Johnson & Trampe S.C. the same year.
