Matthew Momtahan

Matthew Momtahan is an experienced Georgia attorney and the Founder and Principal of The Momtahan Law Firm in Villa Rica. He has practiced law since 2011 and represents individuals, families, and businesses across West Georgia. His practice focuses on business and real estate, personal injury litigation, wills and probate, and family law. Clients rely on Matthew for clear guidance, practical solutions, and steady representation through complex legal matters.

Matthew earned his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School after completing both a B.A. and a B.S. at Georgia State University. His academic background supports a structured, analytical approach to legal problem-solving, enabling him to assess issues from multiple angles and develop effective strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

Matthew worked as a land use planner for a rapidly growing West Georgia county before becoming an attorney. This experience gave him firsthand insight into zoning, development, and regulatory processes. He started his career as a lawyer at a downtown Atlanta specialized litigation firm, followed by work in a Buckhead real estate litigation firm. In 2015, he opened his own practice to serve clients with personalized, responsive legal services.

Matthew has helped clients resolve disputes, protect property interests, recover compensation for injuries, and navigate probate and family law matters with confidence throughout his career. He regularly appears in Georgia trial courts and appellate courts and is also admitted to practice in federal courts.
