Mathew K. Higbee is the founding attorney of Higbee & Associates, a nationally recognized law firm established in 2006. Licensed in ten states and several federal courts, he brings extensive litigation experience in state and federal jurisdictions and notable success in civil appeals, intellectual property, legislative advocacy, and international legal negotiations.
Mathew earned his Juris Doctor from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. During law school, he served as student body president and was a finalist for the ABA’s National President of the Year award. He participated in national moot court, earned prestigious scholarships, and was invited to the U.S. Presidential Management Fellowship. He later served on the law school’s Board of Trustees and was honored as the Young Alumnus of the Year.
Mathew has achieved nearly a dozen published appellate decisions in his legal career and successfully litigated hundreds of cases. His legal insight has supported legislative bodies, while his work has also extended to negotiating content distribution deals with global media companies. He frequently handles complex legal issues involving constitutional rights, consumer justice, and technology-related matters.
Mathew is widely recognized for his public service. His contributions earned him honors from the University of Utah and the Utah State Supreme Court for pro bono work and a certificate of merit from the Mayor of Los Angeles for his advocacy on behalf of veterans.
