Mark A. J. Fassold

Mark A. J. Fassold is a seasoned trial attorney known for his success in high-stakes litigation. Since 2001, he has served as lead counsel in complex business, intellectual property, product liability, and personal injury cases, securing multimillion-dollar jury verdicts in state and federal courts across the United States. A client-centered dedication and fierce competitive spirit complement his courtroom strength.

Mark graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University–Kingsville before earning a Master in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1999. During his time at Harvard, he served as a qualified expert witness in statistical analysis, making significant contributions to the landmark G.I. Forum v. Texas Education Agency case.

After graduating from law school, Mark A. J. Fassold served as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where he secured his first pro bono jury trial victory. He then joined leading Texas firm Jackson Walker LLP, rising to partner before moving to Guerra LLP in 2009. As lead trial lawyer, Mark has tried and handled cases nationwide—from Manhattan to San Diego—and has represented clients in high‑stakes proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

A former infantry platoon leader in the U.S. Army, Mark graduated first in his class from Officer Candidate School and received the Army Commendation Medal.
