Martin Carmichael

Martin Carmichael brings more than thirty years of experience in corporate and securities law, advising public and private companies on complex business transactions, governance matters, and capital markets activity. His work often involves mergers, acquisitions, financing strategies, and guidance for organizations navigating evolving financial regulations and global investment environments today.

Martin earned a BA in 1976 from Williams College before continuing his legal studies at Stanford Law School, where he completed a Juris Doctor in 1979. The academic training provided a strong grounding in corporate law, securities regulation, and analytical writing skills that later supported his long career advising companies, investors, and financial institutions worldwide.

Martin focuses on corporate and securities matters, including capital markets, debt finance, mergers and acquisitions, private investment funds, and real estate finance restructuring work.
