Mark Saunders is a partner at SRH Law in Burlington, Vermont, with more than 35 years of business and transactional legal experience. Saunders earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his B.S. from SUNY Potsdam. He is admitted to practice in Vermont and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. His legal education and long transactional background support a practical approach to business and real estate matters, allowing him to evaluate legal requirements alongside commercial objectives and help clients understand the details, risks, and obligations involved in significant agreements and transactions.

Mark Saunders began his career at a large national firm in Washington, D.C., before moving to Vermont in 1989. He joined SRH Law in 2004 after 15 years in private practice with another Burlington firm. His experience includes helping mission-driven businesses and nonprofits structure transactions that reflect their organizational goals and values. By combining legal analysis with a business perspective, Saunders helps clients anticipate issues, negotiate agreements, and develop practical solutions for complex transactional matters.
