About

Mark Mingo is the founder of Mingo & Yankala, S.C. and represents people who have been seriously injured in accidents throughout Wisconsin. His practice includes truck accidents, car accidents, motorcycle crashes, slip and fall and premises liability cases, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and catastrophic personal injury. Earlier in his career, he represented insurance companies and product manufacturers, experience that now informs how he evaluates defense strategy and prepares claims for injured clients.

Mark earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 1979 after receiving a B.A. in Political Science with honors from Marquette University. His education provided the legal and analytical foundation for a long litigation career spanning trial work, appellate advocacy, insurance disputes, and constitutional issues. That training supports his ability to analyze complicated liability questions, develop persuasive legal arguments, and prepare personal injury cases for negotiation or jury trial when settlement does not adequately resolve the dispute.

Mark has tried more than 100 personal injury cases to jury verdict and has argued before the United States Supreme Court. His Supreme Court work included DeShaney v. Winnebago County. He is admitted in Wisconsin, the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. His practice reflects extensive experience with high-stakes litigation, insurance defense strategy, and courtroom presentation in serious injury matters.

Mark Mingo has been selected by Wisconsin Super Lawyers for many consecutive years and holds an AV Preeminent peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. His combination of plaintiff-side injury work, earlier defense experience, jury trial practice, and appellate advocacy gives clients a broad litigation perspective. He focuses that experience on pursuing compensation for people facing serious physical, financial, and personal consequences after injuries.
