W. Erich Scherr

W. Erich Scherr is the managing partner of Scherr & Scherr, LLP and a civil trial attorney whose practice centers on personal injury and related disputes. He handles matters involving automobile and truck accidents, bicycle and motorcycle crashes, product liability, premises claims, professional liability, wrongful death, insurance coverage, and bad faith. His work includes claims involving serious injuries as well as property and intentional tort disputes requiring litigation experience and careful case preparation.

Erich earned a law degree from Marquette University Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Indiana University — Bloomington. His legal education prepared him for civil litigation involving liability, damages, insurance issues, and evidentiary questions. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin state courts and the federal district courts in Wisconsin, giving him experience with cases that proceed through different trial forums and procedural settings.

Erich has handled hundreds of personal injury claims and civil disputes during his career. His work includes cases arising from motor vehicle collisions, defective products, fires and casualty losses, unsafe property conditions, professional liability, wrongful repossession, trespass, and other intentional torts.
