William Waltenberger

William Waltenberger is the Managing Attorney for Bilingual Practice at Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers. He represents personal injury clients in complex cases and has spent more than 20 years working with people injured through accidents and other harmful events. He provides legal services in Spanish and works closely with clients so they understand their rights, the status of their claims, and the choices available as a matter moves toward settlement or trial.

William earned a B.A. from Marquette University, where he studied Spanish and completed an Elementary Education Teaching Certification. He later earned a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, he received the Barrister’s Award for outstanding performance in Trial Advocacy and interned with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. His education in language, teaching, and trial advocacy supports clear client communication and prepared courtroom presentation.

William has represented personal injury victims for two decades and has experience handling complex injury claims from investigation through resolution. His trial training and prosecutorial internship gave him early exposure to courtroom preparation, while his long-term plaintiff practice developed experience with insurance claims, settlement strategy, and litigation. He works with Spanish-speaking clients directly and uses bilingual communication to help clients understand legal procedures, medical issues, and the practical decisions that arise during an injury case.

William Waltenberger is admitted in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana. His professional affiliations include the Wisconsin Association for Justice and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer Rising Star and by The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 for Wisconsin.
