Mark Malak

Mark Malak is a dedicated Social Security Disability attorney at Berger and Green, P.C., representing clients since 2019. Malak graduated with honors from Rowan University in 2010, earning a B.A. in political science. He then earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2013. During law school, Malak received a legal fellowship from Legal Services, where he represented clients who could not afford private attorneys. His work earned him public recognition for outstanding service. He also participated in the Criminal Justice Clinic, defending individuals charged with misdemeanors.

Before joining Berger and Green, P.C., Malak litigated Social Security Disability cases across more than 30 states, gaining a deep understanding of disability law nationwide. His experience and dedication have led to his recognition on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2021 to 2023, a distinction awarded to only 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.

Malak is active in several professional organizations. He serves on the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) membership committee, the largest network of attorneys advocating for the disabled. He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and contributes to its Committee on Law and Disability, Social Security Practitioners Committee, and Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.
