Mark D. Toppen

Mark D. Toppen is an accomplished litigation attorney whose practice centers on transportation matters, premises liability disputes, and a broad range of general litigation cases. Mark earned a BA in Political Science from Auburn University, graduating magna cum laude. He later earned a JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, he expanded his legal knowledge through academic and professional opportunities, serving as an Associate Editor for Denver Law Review while also working as an Honors Intern for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). These experiences helped develop the research, analytical, and writing skills that continue to support his legal practice today.

Mark began practicing law in Denver after completing his legal education. Over the course of his career, he has represented defendants in both state and federal courts, handling matters from initial case evaluation through resolution. His experience includes participation in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings, where he has consistently focused on protecting client interests and advancing practical solutions to legal challenges.
