Shaun Wesley Hodge

Shaun Wesley Hodge represents clients in insurance claim disputes, property damage cases, and civil litigation. He has handled thousands of state and federal matters in Texas and across the United States. His work at The Hodge Law Firm includes first-party insurance claims, personal injury law, maritime issues, commercial disputes, construction litigation, and general litigation. He also represents clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Shaun has built a career focused on policyholders who need help after insurers deny, delay, or underpay valid claims after serious property losses.

Shaun earned his J.D. from Texas Southern University Law School in Houston, graduating cum laude. He also earned his B.S. in Financial Administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. His education supports his work in complex insurance disputes, where financial records, policy language, repair costs, and claim estimates often matter. He is admitted in Texas, New York, Iowa, the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Federal Claims, and several US district courts across multiple states and regions.

Shaun has helped property owners recover payment after hurricanes, tornadoes, hailstorms, windstorms, floods, fires, winter storms, and other losses. He has litigated residential and large commercial insurance claims in many states. Public entities, including cities, school districts, colleges, and counties, have chosen him to lead major insurance cases. His work has included claims involving the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and other insurers after severe Gulf Coast storms and other major disasters affecting homes, businesses, and public buildings.

Shaun Wesley Hodge has also served in leadership roles in major insurance litigation. He was appointed to the Plaintiff Steering Committee for Hurricane Ike litigation, where he helped coordinate many plaintiff law firms and thousands of claims. He has served as lead counsel in class action and governmental insurance matters. Through his practice, speaking work, and policyholder advocacy, Shaun helps clients understand their rights and pursue fair payment under insurance policies with steady, informed legal guidance during difficult claim disputes and court cases.
