Mark C. Lewandowski

Mark C. Lewandowski is an accomplished attorney with over three decades of experience dedicated to New Jersey workers’ compensation law. His practice is focused on protecting the rights of injured workers and medical providers, ensuring fair compensation for workplace injuries and underpaid medical claims. He has also handled federal longshore claims, Social Security matters, and PIP arbitrations.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with honors from the University of Virginia in 1980 before completing his Juris Doctor at Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1984 and the New Jersey Bar in 1988. His career began as a Captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, where he practiced criminal defense, prosecution, labor, and environmental law.

After serving in the military, Mark began his legal career in private practice, handling workers’ compensation cases for both injured employees and employers across New Jersey. This experience on both sides of the aisle gave him unique insight into how insurance companies defend claims. Today, he focuses exclusively on representing injured workers. Since joining MetroLaw in 2015, Mark has recovered millions of dollars for injured employees and healthcare providers through aggressive workers’ compensation litigation and arbitration throughout New Jersey.

He has presented seminars on New Jersey workers’ compensation law for the National Business Institute and remains an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
