Marjory G. Basile

Marjory G. Basile is a highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyright matters, patent licensing, and intellectual property litigation. As the inaugural leader of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, she has built a legacy of excellence, providing strategic legal counsel and achieving significant results for her clients.

Marjory earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Marygrove College. Admitted to the Michigan Bar, she is also qualified to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Marjory focuses her practice on trademark prosecution and trademark infringement litigation, helping clients build, protect, and enforce strong brands. She has secured an extensive portfolio of federal trademark registrations and won favorable trial verdicts and preliminary injunctions in high-stakes disputes. In addition to her trademark work, Marjory advises on copyright law and patent licensing, delivering integrated intellectual property protection and monetization strategies. She also serves as an arbitrator in complex commercial disputes, using her deep legal experience to efficiently resolve business-critical conflicts.
