Marjorie A. Murphy is the founding attorney of The Murphy Law Practice, PLLC, focusing on employment law, personal injury, and immigration law. Marjorie graduated summa cum laude from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1999, where she was also valedictorian. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University in 1995. In addition to her law degree, Marjorie is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Her experience spans corporate and individual representation, having worked with Fortune 500 companies early in her career.
Throughout her career, Marjorie A. Murphy has successfully fought for employees facing unfair treatment in the workplace. She handles cases involving FMLA, workers’ compensation, whistleblower retaliation, and Fair Labor Standards Act violations. In addition, Marjorie, the daughter of immigrants, brings a personal connection to her immigration law practice and provides compassionate and knowledgeable assistance to foreign-born individuals navigating the immigration process.
