About
Criminal defense attorney Mario J. Fiumefreddo brings strong courtroom insight and legal strategy to every case he handles. A lifelong Milwaukee resident, he is dedicated to defending the rights of individuals facing criminal accusations, probation revocations, or traffic offenses. His early experience as a prosecutor further sharpens his approach.
Mario earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He then completed his Juris Doctorate at Marquette University Law School. While in law school, he focused heavily on criminal law and trial advocacy, taking nearly all available courses in those fields and competing in two national mock trial competitions.
Mario expanded his legal experience through internships on both sides of the criminal justice system. He spent one summer at a local criminal defense law firm and later interned with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the Sensitive Crimes Unit. As a student intern, he gained hands-on experience with a broad range of criminal cases and courtroom proceedings.
Mario began his career as a full-time Assistant District Attorney for Milwaukee County in 2021. Assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit, he managed a full misdemeanor caseload in one of the county’s dedicated DV courts. This role helped him develop critical litigation skills and a deeper understanding of criminal case strategy.
Criminal defense attorney Mario J. Fiumefreddo continues to use his knowledge and trial background to support clients through difficult legal situations. His early exposure to both sides of the courtroom enables him to provide informed and assertive representation to those navigating Wisconsin’s legal system.
