Brett W. Bureau is a passionate criminal defense attorney dedicated to protecting the rights of the accused throughout Wisconsin. Brett began his academic path by earning a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University in 2021. He continued at Marquette to complete his MBA in 2022, demonstrating both analytical and strategic thinking. His focus then shifted to law, and he earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2023.

Brett’s time in law school helped shape his advocacy skills. He interned with the State Public Defender’s Office and worked alongside Wisconsin Appellate Judge Shelley Grogan, gaining vital courtroom and appellate insight. Brett also took on leadership responsibilities at Marquette Law School’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, helping guide its initiatives.

Brett holds certifications in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, backed by his training in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
