Mario Barnabei

Mario Barnabei is a partner at Wheeler, DiUlio, & Barnabei, where he provides strategic legal representation in insurance litigation and commercial legal matters. Known for his diligence and client-centered approach, Mario advocates for policyholders and business clients across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia in complex insurance and property damage claims.

Mario earned his Juris Doctor from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2013. He also holds an MBA (2009) and a BA in Political Science and Legal Studies (2008), both from West Virginia University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Mario focused on Business and Intellectual Property Law in law school, excelling in contract drafting and negotiation.

At Wheeler, DiUlio & Barnabei, Mario focuses on first-party property insurance litigation, insurance bad faith claims, and complex commercial disputes. Leveraging his background in business, he also guides clients through entity formation, corporate transactions, and landlord–tenant issues. Known for his clear, detail-oriented drafting and strong negotiation skills, Mario is a trusted partner for both litigation and transactional matters.

Mario is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Before joining the firm, he interned with the Hancock County Prosecutor’s Office and a global property and casualty insurer, gaining valuable experience in public and corporate legal environments.
