Kavi Mathew

Kavi Mathew is an experienced immigration attorney who brings compassion and firsthand understanding to her practice. With over a decade of legal experience in the Dallas area, she has built a strong reputation for helping individuals and families through complex immigration matters, personal injury cases, and criminal defense proceedings.

Kavi‘s educational journey began in India, where she earned a Civil Engineering degree from NSS College of Engineering in 1998. She then pursued her M.B.A. in Marketing and Human Resources at the Management Development Institute in 2002. In 2010, she earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, laying the foundation for her legal career in the United States.

As an immigrant herself, Kavi understands the challenges of building a new life in a different country. Her personal experience with the naturalization process inspired her to help others achieve their American dream. While studying law, she interned for the Honorable Ron Clark in the Eastern District Court of Texas and worked with the SMU Tax Clinic as a student attorney.

Following Kavi’s admission to the Texas State Bar and the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2010, she worked with Special Counsel and a local firm, gaining valuable experience in patent law, litigation, and intellectual property. Her practice soon expanded to include immigration, personal injury, and criminal defense, allowing her to support clients through some of their most difficult life moments.
