She was also the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with a concentration in Middle Eastern and North African studies, graduating cum laude from Wofford College. This strong academic background laid the foundation for her thoughtful and globally informed perspective on legal issues.
Before joining Meridian, Margo served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Walton J. McLeod IV in the South Carolina Eleventh Judicial Circuit (2023–2024). She previously gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant with the Rule of Law Collaborative in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Legal Assistant at a national law firm in Washington, D.C., These roles strengthened her understanding of litigation processes and enhanced her ability to manage complex cases efficiently.
