Jonathan S. Dean

Jonathan S. Dean brings more than three decades of experience to his legal career, where he has represented clients in a wide range of real estate, business, probate, and commercial matters. His work includes serving as General Counsel for major institutions and overseeing countless transactions that have resulted in millions of dollars in favorable settlements and judgments.

Jonathan earned his B.A. from Michigan State University in 1982 before pursuing his J.D. from Western Michigan University / Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1987. Admitted to the Florida Bar that same year, he has built a respected reputation for his strong legal acumen and professional integrity. His education and bar experience have enabled him to handle complex cases with skill, particularly in areas requiring a detailed understanding of Florida’s commercial and property laws.

Jonathan has provided legal guidance to several prominent organizations, including the Marion County Hospital District, where he served as General Counsel from 1998 to 2016. He also contributed as Chairman and board member of Florida Citizen’s Bank from 1999 to 2015 and as General Counsel and board member for the Central Florida College Foundation.
