Marc G. Wilhelm

Marc G. Wilhelm is a partner with Richmond & Quinn in Anchorage whose practice includes civil litigation, insurance coverage, appellate work, and construction law. He represents clients in disputes that require careful analysis of liability, policy language, procedural issues, and the factual record. His work spans trial and appellate matters, giving him experience addressing cases from early litigation strategy through briefing and review in higher courts.

Wilhelm earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1975 and his law degree with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982. While in law school, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review. His academic background supports detailed legal research, written advocacy, and analysis of complex insurance and litigation issues.

After law school, Wilhelm served as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge James A. von der Heydt from 1983 to 1985. His practice has since included broad civil litigation, insurance coverage disputes, appellate matters, and construction-related cases. He has been admitted to the Washington Bar since 1982 and the Alaska Bar since 1984, giving him decades of experience working with disputes in Alaska and federal court settings.
