Marc A. Johnston

Marc A. Johnston is a dedicated trial lawyer with more than 15 years of experience representing individuals and families in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. Known for his aggressive advocacy and client-focused approach, Marc has secured numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for victims of negligence across Oregon.

Marc earned his undergraduate degree before pursuing his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as Executive Editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and was a national student director for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. He also won the 2005 Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Student Writing Competition.

Licensed by the Oregon State Bar, Marc focuses his legal practice on personal injury, car and truck accidents, pedestrian and bicycle injuries, motorcycle crashes, workplace incidents, and cases involving serious corporate negligence. His courtroom skills and strategic mindset allow him to take on powerful defendants and pursue full justice for his clients.

Beyond the courtroom, Marc is deeply involved in mentoring and legal education. He founded and coached the Reed College Mock Trial Program and has served on the Oregon State Bar Mentor Task Force. He also contributes to the Oregon New Lawyer Division and the Loan Repayment Assistance Program, promoting public service among new attorneys.
