Jonathan Wheeler

Jonathan Wheeler is a founding partner of Wheeler, DiUlio, & Barnabei, a firm he established over 25 years ago to advocate for individuals and businesses against powerful insurance companies. With more than four decades of litigation experience, Jonathan has built a reputation for tenaciously representing clients in cases involving personal injury, property damage, and complex insurance disputes, including bad faith and first-party claims.

Jonathan holds a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, earned in 1969, where he served on the Moot Court Board. He also completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Haverford College in 1966 and attended the Oxford University Exeter College Graduate Summer Program the same year. Further enhancing his litigation skills, he completed the Advanced Trial Practice program at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 1980 and the State Farm Advanced Arson Program in 1984.

Jonathan’s litigation footprint spans numerous jurisdictions, including the Courts of Common Pleas across multiple Pennsylvania counties and Superior Courts throughout New Jersey. He has also practiced in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His courtroom experience gives clients confidence that their matters are in the hands of a seasoned trial professional.

Jonathan Wheeler is admitted to the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and to several federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Tax Court. He maintains active memberships in leading professional organizations such as the Philadelphia Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
