Malcolm C. McArthur has built a long-standing legal career centered on litigation, public service, and institutional representation. His work focuses on insurance defense litigation, employment litigation, and representing school districts. He is known for practical judgment, steady advocacy, and an ability to guide clients through complex legal disputes.

Malcolm began his academic path at the University of Georgia, earning a B.A. in Political Science in 1970. He later completed his legal education at the University of Georgia, receiving a J.D. in 1973. His studies formed a strong foundation in public law, legal reasoning, and courtroom advocacy.

Malcolm entered legal service through active duty in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1978, serving as a Judge Advocate. During this period, he worked as both prosecutor and defense counsel in numerous courts-martial, gaining firsthand trial experience across varied and demanding legal proceedings.

Malcolm continued his public legal service as an Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnet Judicial Circuit from 1978 to 1980. In that role, he handled criminal prosecutions, developed trial strategies, and strengthened his skills in case preparation, witness examination, and courtroom presentation.

Malcolm now concentrates on civil litigation matters involving general liability, labor and employment disputes, and education-related legal issues. His work with school districts includes advising on compliance, employment concerns, and litigation defense, helping institutions address legal challenges while maintaining operational stability.

Malcolm is admitted to practice in Georgia state courts, including the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He remains active in professional and community organizations.
