Jennifer Dawson

Jennifer Dawson is a veteran attorney at Marshall Melhorn with a broad litigation practice spanning employment, education, and commercial law. She brings decades of experience representing clients in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations. She is frequently called upon to serve as local counsel in complex litigation and class actions due to her extensive federal court experience.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Miami University. Early in her legal career, she clerked for the Honorable Nicholas J. Walinski in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, which provided a solid foundation for her courtroom advocacy and strategic legal insight.

Throughout her distinguished career, Jennifer has advised clients on employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, FMLA, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She routinely helps employers navigate EEOC and OCRC complaints, draft employee handbooks, conduct internal investigations, and develop contracts and separation agreements to prevent costly disputes.
