MacDaniel E. Reynolds is the founder and CEO of Reynolds Defense Firm, where he leads a team dedicated to helping people facing DUI and criminal charges across Oregon. With more than 25 years of experience in Oregon criminal law, he draws from a deep background as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney to offer strategic, compassionate representation. Known for his empathy, clarity, and drive to help others, Reynolds has built a practice focused on restoring dignity and hope for clients navigating the justice system.

Reynolds began his academic journey at Paul Smith’s College, where he earned an A.A.S. in Environmental Technology in 1992. He later received a B.S. in Forest Engineering from SUNY ESF at Syracuse University in 1995. He completed his J.D. at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College and soon after began his legal career as a deputy district attorney in Multnomah County.

Reynolds’s time as a prosecutor gave him valuable insight into how the criminal justice system works, including firsthand experience advising officers on investigations and charging decisions. Today, he leverages this unique knowledge to defend clients charged with DUI, traffic violations, and related offenses. Reynolds is recognized for his hands-on approach, clear communication, and focus on long-term client success through programs like the Blue Binder Project.
