M. Mitchell Moss

M. Mitchell Moss is a shareholder, attorney, and mediator at Moss Legal Group in El Paso, Texas. He represents individuals and corporations in health care litigation, commercial disputes, labor and employment matters, professional malpractice, catastrophic injury, education law, and insurance defense. Moss has extensive trial experience and is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He also serves as a certified mediator and arbitrator in complex civil disputes.

Moss earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as an associate editor of the Texas Tech Law Review. He previously earned a B.S. from Texas Christian University. His legal education, combined with decades of litigation experience, supports his work on medically and technically complex disputes, employment matters, insurance issues, and business conflicts that require careful legal analysis, strong advocacy, and practical judgment.

Moss has tried more than 100 jury cases and resolved hundreds of additional matters without trial. His representative work includes defending physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers in malpractice and negligence cases, handling proceedings before the Texas Medical Board and Board of Nursing Examiners, and obtaining a defense verdict for a local hospital. He has also handled wrongful death, professional liability, commercial, employment, construction, education, and insurance disputes for plaintiffs and defendants.
